Compensation: $18 - $21 per hour The Quality Inspector position in Dover, NH is responsible for inspection of all products to the predetermined inspection plan, verifying compliance to the customer's specifications and data collection. Other responsibilities include performing internal audits, running inspections and general manufacturing duties.You will ensure quality requirements have been met. You will have a solid understanding of manufacturing environments and computer business applications. Successful candidates will have a mechanical aptitude and have high attention to detail.This is a Direct Hire, first shift position. Pay Rate: $18 - $21/hour Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP Quality Inspector Responsibilities: Perform and record in-process quality inspections for jobs running in manufacturing. Conduct final release inspections for shipments to ensure quality standards. Enter customer-required electronic data for shipments, such as inspection data. Perform incoming inspections for raw materials, entering data into the ERP system or manually documenting as per procedures. Coordinate with the Welch Receiver and Manufacturing leadership regarding material status as needed. Maintain incoming inspection equipment, supplies, and the inspection area, including an active inventory of consumables. Provide reports on incoming inspection activity and product testing as required. Participate in corrective action and problem-solving sessions to meet customer quality requirements. Assist the Quality Engineer with supplier corrective actions related to incoming inspection issues. Train and provide instruction to team members as requested by the Quality Team Leader. Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Team Leader. Quality Inspector Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts. Proficient with Windows-based computers and popular business applications such as ERP software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet browsers, and email. Strong ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. Experience with drafting reports and collating data. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Skilled in analyzing and interpreting technical information. Excellent teamwork skills and effective written/verbal communication with colleagues and customers. Experience performing dimensional inspections using current measuring instruments. Quality Inspector Physical Requirements: Must have the visual acuity to inspect and distinguish conforming from non-conforming parts. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
