OCMI, Inc. is growing and seeking a dynamic, success driven QA / QC Field Inspector to join our onsite team on a multi-year, large-scale active construction program located in New Haven, CT. In this role, you will provide highly responsive program and project management services in one of the firm's core business lines. The QA/QC Field Inspector duties include, but not limited to: Perform continuous quality assurance inspections for all construction and renovation projects across various facilities, ensuring adherence to rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) standards. Verify compliance with relevant building codes, standards, approved construction documents, and overall construction quality. Execute comprehensive construction oversight, meticulously assessing design intent, building quality, structural integrity, durability expectations, and factors related to building maintenance and operational functionality. Qualifications: A minimum of eight years of substantial construction experience, with a background as a building inspector, construction superintendent, or QC Manager. Proficiency in OSHA construction safety requirements, demonstrating a deep understanding of safety protocols and regulations. Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance and construction inspection procedures. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure precise validation of construction quality. Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with project teams. Adeptness at working in dynamic construction environments while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. What's in it for you?
