Lake Mary, FL (Onsite) 3-Month Contract Job ID Solugenix is assisting a client, a leading financial services company, in their search for an Escrow & Title Assistant. This is a 3-month contract opportunity based out of Lake Mary, FL (Onsite). Required Skills: Procurement, Escrow, Legal Documents, Organizational Skills, Audit. Additional Skills: Retail Sales, Documentation, Problem Solving, Clerical, Closing, Business Development, Maintenance, Customer Service Oriented. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of related experience directly assisting with escrow and title transactions with some real estate related knowledge and experience. Communicates professionally with all customers. Strong customer service orientation Detail orientation Excellent verbal communication Problem solving skills Strong organizational skills. Responsibilities:This position is responsible for supporting both the Escrow and Title departments within a Branch. Provide customer service to customers and field escrow offices. Assist in the establishment of new escrow accounts and assist with various title functions. Develop escrow documents in accordance with internal and external policies and regulations. Perform administrative and clerical duties to assist in the processing of escrow process, and handle funds for the closing process. Assist in the maintenance of online communication tools. Open escrow and title orders and perform initial setup of files and preparation of documents. Communicate with customers and vendors on a regular basis providing status updates Responsible for pre-close maintenance and post-close follow-up on escrow and title issues, including title policy issues. Interface with lenders to facilitate document delivery, execution, and funding of loans. Open and process escrow transactions for a branch. Develop and/or obtain required escrow documentation in accordance with escrow instructions, policy and procedures, and applicable statutory and Federal regulations Perform various title-related duties, including title report review, procurement of title, document abstracting, and the facilitation of the recording of legal documents. Use research to create and maintain files, records, and reports. Audit calculations and legal documents for accuracy. Create and process preliminary title reports through the production center. Participate in business development activities to help maintain existing clients and to acquire new clients. Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $21.99/hour to $21.99/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
