About the Team As a Senior Programmer Analyst, you will contribute to the design and support of a future state cloud-based data warehouse architecture that will power Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics across the firm. This role will support the Data & Analytics area within Edward Jones by ensuring production data pipelines, BI & AA tools and Analytic data platforms remain highly available. Tools used will include SQL, PLSQL, Oracle, DB2, Snowflake, Qlik, Databricks, Matillion and pentaho. This is a technical role. What you'll do: Provides 1st level support on our team by applying technical and business knowledge to ensure availability of our systems, and to provide quality solutions for business needs. Leverage workflow tools to maintain accurate status of assigned tasks in an agile methodology (JIRA, Service Now, etc.) Troubleshoot any issues with jobs based on alerting system Ensure scheduled reporting jobs are scheduled to run on a frequency consistent with stakeholder requirements Associate will be assigned high priority requests and will need to verify controls are followed to ensure accuracy of output and security. Work with developers to correct errors in jobs and processes at the production level Review of SQL and ETL processes to tune and fix existing processes Develop and review documentation as it pertains to the team Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage.
