Overview White Deer Run of Allenwood is recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner for an Adult Addiction Treatment Facility White Deer Run of Allenwood, PA is a 324-bed residential facility located in Central Pennsylvania. For more than 5 decades, WDR has provided premier care for the Region. In addition to detox and residential care, White Deer Run of Allenwood provides continuing care services to the adult men and women who come to our program. White Deer Run of Allenwood works to treat addictions to substances like alcohol, heroin, prescription drugs, marijuana, cocaine, inhalants, and meth. They offer detoxification and MAT, residential addiction treatment and treatment for those with addiction and co-existing mental health disorders. In addition, this center can provide care for those patients struggling with co-occurring conditions. These conditions can include depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bipolar disorder. Some of the many therapeutic services we provide to our patients include group and individual therapy, medication management, addiction education, 12-Step programming, anger management group, gender-specific issues, family therapy, and more. Our team, made up of many medical and mental health professionals, is devoted to providing the utmost quality of care to each patient. Prior experience in Addictions and behavioral health treatment Excellent compensation and benefits available. #LI-AD1 #LI-ELLE AHPR Responsibilities Summary: Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of patients consistent with training and education; Performs physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance; Ensures physician medication orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate physicians and consults with the supervising physician; Evaluates patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results, and patient feedback; Provides patient and staff education on medication maintenance; Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure; Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, from an accredited college or university Previous experience in behavioral health facility/clinic preferred No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment Licenses/Certifications: Licensed to practice in the state in Pennsylvania DEA license.
