Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Audit Associate: #1. Experience with real estate, construction, manufacturing, and distribution #2. Experience with audits, reviews, compilations of financial statements and EBP audits #3. At least 1+ years for Associate, or 3+ years for Senior, of experience in public accounting Requirements of the Audit Associate: 1-6 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm CPA certification is an advantage Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline Familiarity with financial statement assessments, including audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as Employee Benefit Plan evaluations Knowledge of the real estate, construction, manufacturing, distribution, and nonprofit sectors Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking Highly motivated with a strong commitment to task completion Effective communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Experience with Advance Flow is a bonus Other Key Requirements: Candidates must be local and follow our hybrid schedule out of our Towson or Columbia office No sponsorships or visa holders.
