Downingtown: 4 Brandywine Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335 East Falls: 4341 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19129 Work Days and Expected Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department). Function: Performs business development activities for high net worth segment of the bank, focusing on loans, both security and secured loans, deposit, and Assets Under Management (AUM). Work with clients to meet their financial goals and objectives. Proactively advise and consult with clients, explaining the types of financial services available, educating and recommending investment, deposits, and lending options as well as the potential risks surrounding meeting their financial objectives. Regularly works with line of business partners to achieve high net worth client's financial goals. Duties and Responsibilities: Identifies potential high net worth prospects by working with Commercial, Consumer Banking, Retail Mortgage and Wealth Management partners. Enhances the sales/client experience in Private Banking. Understands the financial markets and their impact on clients. Demonstrates a strong understanding of banking, credit/underwriting, and investment products. Maintains a robust network of centers of influence from which referrals can be generated. Acts in an advisory capacity with a background framed by core credit concepts allowing quick identification of challenges and opportunities within a borrower's financial statements. Performs ongoing analysis of client accounts to ensure client goals are targeted while bank profitability is maintained. Through analysis, is able to proactively identify and execute on additional opportunities to deepen relationships. Works with Premier Bankers to assure proper account "fit" and account set up with bank operations. Coordinates meetings to uncover a client's financial goals and objectives and subsequently recommends products and services from multiple business lines. Requires S.A.F.E. Act certification. Proof of registration with the registry and verification of a unique identifier as established under the guidelines of the S.A.F.E. Act is required upon hire and/or must be obtained prior to performing the duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator, as defined by the Act. This registration must be maintained annually in accordance with the S.A.F.E. Act. Maintains a positive working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as a team player to contribute to the success of retail, commercial and wealth and the overall organization. Assumes additional duties as required. Physical Demands Operates a keypad device: 20% of the day; operates electronic equipment: 5% of the day; operates office equipment: 10% of the day. The primary arts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumb, hands, wrists and elbows. Sitting is required 30% of the day; walking is required 20% of the day. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Requires travel for Business Development and training up to 50% of the time. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"- 20" for computer work and travel 40% of the business day. Education Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent, in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred. CFP, Series 7, and Series 66 preferred. Prior NMLS registration preferred required upon placement. Formal credit training preferred. Experience Requires ten years of general business experience and five to ten years of experience selling financial products to the high net worth segment. Measurable proven track record of financial product sales: consumer loans, wealth management solutions and deposit products to high net worth individuals along with an established network of strong connections with COI to generate solid referral opportunities. Credit, underwriting, sales and demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
