Aerospace Manufacturing EngineerPay Rate: $40hr to $60+hrLocation: Multiple locations available throughout the West Coast, Southern California, Florida, Texas, and the Midwest.On-site onlyThis posting is reviewed daily by an experienced aerospace recruiter, not by AIOur team is driving the hiring process for Aerospace Manufacturing Engineers with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical manufacturing engineering, particularly in the aerospace industry. As an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer with one of our industry-leading partners, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes, solving complex technical problems, and implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing efficiency. Ideal candidates will have direct aerospace experience with collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.Key Considerations:To be considered, candidates must be permanent residents of the United States (Green Card or Citizen) and must abide by Federal, State, Local, and organization-specific regulations and restrictions such as ITAR, FARs, and COI's.This posting is not for entry-level positions in the aerospace, defense, and aviation industries. To be considered, candidates must have at least 2 years of professional experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering.Key Technical Skills Sought:(If you possess a single skill or a combination of skills listed below, you are strongly encouraged to submit your resume)MechanicalElectrical Manufacturing Engineering: Proven experience in solving technical manufacturing problems and supporting the production of aerospace components and systems.Lean or Six Sigma Methodologies: Strong background in applying Lean or Six Sigma practices for process optimization, waste reduction, and quality improvement.Project Leadership: Experience leading significant manufacturing engineering projects, ideally having managed or led a team to accomplish individual project tasks.Hardware testing, development, assembly, and manufacturing: Experience in testing, development, assembly, and manufacturing activities for aerospace systems and components, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance throughout the product lifecycle.CAD Software: Ability to use CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or AutoCAD for designing aerospace components and systems.Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T): Proficiency in applying GD&T principles to ensure precise fit, form, and function of aerospace components and systems, complying with industry standards such as ASME Y14.5.Problem Solving: Strong hands-on problem-solving skills, ideally Green Belt or Black Belt certified in Six Sigma methodologies.Pay Range:$40hr to $60+hrBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace.Direct experience in mechanically and electrically oriented manufacturing engineering with a focus on problem-solving, not just planning.Strong understanding of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.Nice to Have Qualifications:Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma, demonstrating proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies.Experience working with industry leaders such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Collins Aerospace, Raytheon, or similar organizations, indicating familiarity with aerospace industry standards and best practices.Previous experience completing a significant manufacturing engineering project, ideally in a leadership capacity.Overview of Roles Available:(Emphasis on Manufacturing Engineers)Manufacturing Engineers: Optimize manufacturing processes, production workflows, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.Mechanical Engineers: Design and analyze mechanical systems and components for aerospace vehicles, ensuring reliability and performance.Design Engineers: Utilize CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD to create detailed designs and specifications for aerospace components.Quality Engineers: Implement quality control measures and inspection protocols using software programs for statistical analysis and quality management.Project Engineers: Lead multidisciplinary teams in managing complex aerospace projects, ensuring successful project execution within time and budget constraints.Benefits:Competitive compensation with COL adjusted pay and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and 401k.Per-Diem availability.Exciting aerospace, defense, and aviation projects.Pay Range:$40hr to $60+hrKey Considerations:To be considered, candidates must be permanent residents of the United States (Green Card or Citizen) and must abide by Federal, State, Local, and organization-specific regulations and restrictions such as ITAR, FARs, and COI's.This posting is not for entry-level positions in the aerospace, defense, and aviation industries.
