ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: The individual in this position will oversee daily cash activities for Superior Essex's U.S., Canada, and Mexico bank accounts, reconciling the prior day's domestic and foreign cash positions, reviewing the current day's U.S. cash position, evaluating current and short-term liquidity needs and assist in the evaluation of investing and borrowing decisions. Responsible for the execution of daily financial transactions and maintains the corporation's domestic and international banking information and reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform daily cash management activities including cash positioning, electronic payments initiation (ACH, Domestic and International Wires), and daily reconciliation of cash workstations with prior day bank activity Process borrowings or repayments as needed Prepare daily/weekly/Monthly/quarterly cash reports Maintain Weekly Cash forecast Monthly bank fees monitoring and analysis for U.S. and Canada Process miscellaneous deposit items for corporate bank accounts Preparation of monthly Intercompany loan schedules Foreign Exchange weekly rates Day-to-day administration of bank accounts, including opening and closing bank accounts, bank signers' updates, KYC requirements and ad hoc requests for online banking portal admins Prepare monthly interest expense accrual for submission to accounting Assist with compliance reports on monthly and quarterly basis Other duties as required SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related subject 1+ years of experience in finance related field. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate level in Excel) Experience with online banking platforms ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Must be well-organized and detail-oriented Excellent written and speaking communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Cash workstation experience preferred. COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: Strong Microsoft Windows skills with advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) skills are required.
