Three years Registered Nurse experience is required Department: Pediatric Psychiatry Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8 hour shifts: Skills, certs & experience you are looking for in a candidate: Primary Location: 224 S Woods Mill Road, South Medical Building, Suite 640, Chesterfield, MO 63017 Secondary Location: 3800 Park Avenue, CG Foundation Building 2nd Floor, St. Louis, MO 63110 Additional Job Duties: include inbound calls, triaging patient callscomplaints, education for families and staff, complex case coordination, medication refills, rooming video visit patients, and prior authorization management. Job Summary:Provides services as a patient navigator throughout the continuum of care. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESFunctions as a liaison for management staff, administration, physicians, managed care companies, community organizations, and other customers.Collaborates with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes. Coordinates efforts for treatment and promotes quality improvement and educational piles data, tracks outcomes, and makes recommendations for process improvement.Provides referralssupport for follow-up care for patients who are uninsured or underinsured.Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in all patient encounters.Assists medical provider with processing of diagnostic results bringing significant values to the provider's attention. Exhibits knowledge of tests and procedures and their significance as related to patient care.Recognizes the implementation of dosages, interactions, side effects, adverse effects, routes of administration of drugs as they apply to individual patients. Uses knowledge of medications in instructing patients about medication therapy.Establishes working relationships teaching protocols for patient education, family counseling and general public information.Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATIONGraduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing EXPERIENCEThree years' registered nurse experiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSConstant use of speech to share information through oral communication.Constant standing and walking.Frequent liftingcarrying and pushingpulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent sitting, reaching and keyboard usedata entry.Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.Frequent use of smell to detectrecognize odors.Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds andor hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.Occasional liftingcarrying and pushingpulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Occasional liftingmoving of patients.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping and repetitive footleg and handarm movements.Occasional driving.Rare crawling and running.
