Overview: The Army Training Support Center (ATSC) is located at Fort Eustis, Virginia and responsible for managing the Army Training Support Enterprise (TSE) providing oversight for many programs that enable the development, delivery, and sustainment of Training and Education (T&E) support capabilities worldwide. By Light is looking for candidates to provide Automation Technical Support (ATS) for mission related network components, computers, Software (SW), Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment, projectors, wiring, network equipment/SW, switches, Configuration Management (CM), servers, virtual environments and infrastructure, applications, and associated communications equipment. Responsibilities: Support Trouble Calls by responding within 30 minutes for Tier II/III service tickets when the network, mission production application, or server nodes/equipment is inoperable and within 1 hour for other problems. Maintains, troubleshoots, and administers VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, Microsoft operating systems including Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Server with Active Directory, Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows Vista Enterprise. Manage VMware Horizon View infrastructure to provide virtual desktop support to customers. Manage and administer VMware virtual data center. Configure, maintain, and update VMware vCenter and ESXi hosts. Standup and configure new hardware. Implement, configure, maintain and update Windows 10 desktop images for use as VMware View client parent images to meet the customers software and performance requirements. Utilize Windows PowerShell to script additional requirements that cannot be applied via group policy as requested by the customer. Ensure all systems are in compliance with DISA/STIG/SCAP requirements. Develop VMware PowerCLI scripts to aid in administering and securing VMware vCenter, virtual machines and ESXi hosts. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues within virtual desktops and servers. Create, maintain, and administer Active Directory computer accounts. Configure and maintain Active Directory Group Policies Troubleshoot group policy issues. Work with team mates to administer network storage systems. Document all systems and activities. Required Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience Minimum of 4 years experience executing IT service and infrastructure support. Baseline Certifications: Security+ (Upon Contract Start) Computing Environment Certifications: VMware (Required upon contract start but can be waived to obtain within six months from contract start) Preferred Experience/Qualifications: Supported the U.S. Army or other DoD/Federal Agency. Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates. Special Requirements/Security Clearance: U.S. Citizen Secret Security Clearance
