As one of the largest electrical contractors in the Charlotte Metro Area, we at Recore pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service possible.The career opportunity for you:We are seeking an Assistant Project ManagerAssistant Project Managers are responsible for helping Project Managers in the planning, directing, and coordinating of various Life Safety projects. They will be working closely with Project Managers assisting with daily tasks such as coordination of projects, submittals, RFIs, estimates, and various other duties.This is intended to be an entry-level position for someone who is looking to start a career in project management. Ideal candidates for this position have recently graduated with a Construction Management degree, or have some equivalent work experience in Project Management. Having prior industrial electrical experience is a huge plus.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in the organization and management of various industrial electrical projects.Assist in producing financial projections.Assist the project staff in outlining the work plan and assigning duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.Help coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.Assist in preparing status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.Assist in the preparation of project reports for management, clients, or others.Assist with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve any problems.Assist the onsite superintendent with duties specific to the project.Assist in maintaining a viable and positive relationship with the customer.Must be able to handle stress and job demands.Must be able to cooperatively work with others.Desired Experience:College graduate with a construction-related degree, or equivalent work experience with a High School Diploma or GED.Detail-oriented professional with exceptional problem-solving skills who loves new challenges and has a drive for results.Strong communication and organizational skillsProficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Current driver's license and have transportation to the officeFor the Employee: Employee Stock Option Plan - Matching 401k - PTO - Standard Paid Holidays - Medical, Dental, Vision -(Medical premium paid 100% for the individual) Short and Long Term Disability - Life Insurance
