If you're passionate about leading from the front and creating practical, future-forward designs, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licensePE stamp for VT with ability to obtain NY and NH stamps Required Skills: 10+ years of experience designing MEP systems for commercial buildingsProficiency in Revit for drafting and modeling (preferred, but not required)Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tailor solutions to unique project needsKey Responsibilities: -- Innovative System Design & Sustainability:Lead the design of HVAC and electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildingsPioneer energy-efficient solutions that strike a balance between sustainability and functionalityMaximize energy performance through forward-thinking designs that set new industry standards-- Project Leadership & Management:Take ownership of MEP projects from initial concept through to final implementationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration of MEP systemsEnsure all designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations--Technical Mastery:Conduct advanced calculations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsUtilize tools like Revit to model and visualize complex system designsStay ahead of trends by recommending the latest technologies to boost energy efficiency-- Collaboration & Influence:Work closely with architects, engineers, and key stakeholders to bring projects to lifeCommunicate complex design concepts clearly to clients and project teamsFoster a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and practical problem-solving within the team-- Quality Assurance & Site Inspections:Review and validate construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracyPerform site visits to ensure that designs are executed in line with the intended visionAddress any required design changes quickly and efficiently to maintain project timelines
