Regional Transportation Manager

Position: Regional Transportation ManagerLocation: Baltimore, MDSalary: Competitive Base + BonusDescription:We're working with a top distributor in their respective space on a multi-site transportation leadership opportunity. This is a company with a reputation for having a solid culture and career growth opportunities.This individual will be responsible for a team of 10 supervisors, 80 company drivers, and have oversight of 6 smaller domicile locations.Responsibilities:- Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions- Train and coach supervisors- Develop relationships with drivers and customers- Oversees weekly, monthly and yearly P&L statements- Ensures on-time delivery of products and services- Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standardsQualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (3-5 years)- Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulationsSkillsAbilities:- Exceptional communication skills- Excellent leadership abilities
