Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.Team Leadership: Lead and manage all field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is being completed according to company and safety standards.Site Supervision: Maintain daily oversight of site activities, ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and labor, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to address issues, make necessary adjustments, and keep projects moving forward.Scheduling: Develop and manage the construction schedule, track progress, and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.Quality Control: Ensure the highest level of workmanship, conduct regular inspections, and address any deficiencies in construction.Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.Problem Solving: Identify, address, and resolve issues and challenges as they arise on the job site.Reporting: Provide regular updates to project managers, maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of site activities.Qualifications:Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction, with a strong track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of commercial construction techniques, building codes, and safety regulations.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications; familiarity with construction management software and project scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification required; LEED accreditation or other industry certifications are a plus.Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and withstand a variety of outdoor weather conditions.
