The role is responsible for coordinating, documenting, and driving centralized supplier score cards process that feeds information back to new product development component selection process as well as high volume component allocation. This role is part of the Commodities and Manufacturing Sourcing Engineering group which resides in the broader Global Supplier Management function.Key CapabilitiesSupply Chain Strategy ManagementSupplier Relationship ManagementNew Technology Development and Process ManagementLeadership Skills: Building relationships, earning respect, and gaining organizational influence.Proficiency in working through diverse inputs and opinions to arrive at optimal and agreed-upon solutions.Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks and develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupplier Score Card CoordinatorWork cross functionally with Procurement, Design, Supplier Quality, Product Development Team (PMT), Business Continuity and Planning teams to standardize score card documentation, process and reporting.Work with IC, DRAM, Enclosure, PCB, etc. workgroups to complete, review, debate and finalize supplier scorecards on continuous basis.Work with IT or analytics team to centrally locate, visualize and summarize score cards into dashboard(s) that feed into product development new component BOM selection and high-volume manufacturing component allocation.Work with teams to document and assure above processes meet ISO 9001 Supplier Management Requirements.Contribute to future technology definition and requirements with R&D and EngineeringDefine the technical requirements for supplier selection.Work together with supplier to define the raw materials and overall materials manufacturing process flow to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield and manufacturability requirements.Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge and problem solving toolsDevelop strategy to resolve wide range of difficult and complex problemsProvide component level technical support during new product development.QualificationsBachelor'smaster's degree in Solid State Physics, Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering degree with experience in Board ManufacturingMinimum 7 years of experience in semiconductor components and R&D development manufacturing backgroundSignificant supply chain experience, preferably in the semiconductor industryKnowledge of program management methodologies for schedules, cost, quality, and risksExperience in an international organization.Experience in semiconductor industry.Additional InformationFor California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $113,210 to $196,720. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
