Whitestone REIT specializes in value creation within its Community Centers, strategically marketing, leasing, and managing properties to align tenant services with the needs of the surrounding communities. The successful candidate will provide direct support to the Property Management team, assisting with various property management and team-related responsibilities Responsibilities:Process all Move InOut documentation to Collections, Accounting and the Property Management teamAnswer calls for the organization to ensure calls are routed appropriatelyPrepare and create memorandums, correspondence, etc. for Managers and DirectorFollow up with Customers and Maintenance on completed work ordersManage Customer and Vendor Certificates of InsuranceManage Department Logs such as grease trap maintenance, vacancy master keys, HVAC and tool inventoryAssist with payments, collections and invoice coding as neededUpdate electricity vacancy spreadsheet monthlyCreate and Manage Customer files and all active files in departmentSend out default letters to tenantsAssisting the Property Management, Maintenance as well as the Management teamSet-upCoordinate meetings for Director of Property Management and DepartmentOrdering and distributing company suppliesRetrieving and distributing mailComplete weekly reports for staff meetingsAssist the IT department with everyday issuesAttend to visitors and all walk-insMaintain a current customer database for department utilizationPrepare and update Property Management spreadsheets and property assignments as neededManage Vendor and Manager Christmas Card processOther responsibilities as neededDesired Skills and Experience:0-3 years of related work experience in commercial real estateAssociate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferredExcellent internal and external customer serviceStrong written, verbal, and people skillsExpertise in MS Office, Excel, and YardiAbility to work autonomously, problem-solving and making independent decisions Ability to multitask and prioritizeStrong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
