Endolytix Technology Inc. is a well-funded startup biopharmaceutical company developing novel biological antibacterial therapeutics for a critical unmet need to transform the lives of patients with the most difficult infections to treat due to antibiotic resistance, drug toxicities, access, and reemergence post-therapy. We are in the Preclinical stage of development focused on scale up process development for our lead drug formulation that consists of Enzymes encapsulated into liposomes. We're seeking a highly skilled hands-on scientist with motivation to perform advanced bacteriology experiments for the development of novel biotherapeutics. Responsibilities include pathogen microbiology interfaced with assay development to increase speed and enhance quantification of bactericidal assays. A successful candidate will enjoy fast-paced research that is cross-functional and interactive with other teams within Endolytix. Qualifications: · Minimum of 2 years industrial experience · BS or, MS in Microbiology, biochemistry, or biotechnology or related discipline · Experience working with bacterial pathogens· High throughput experience in assay development· Experience working in 96-well format· Experience in assay development· Experience running AST assays (Antibiotic Susceptibility Assays) · Demonstrated ability to work across multifunctional teams· Start-up experience Preferred Qualifications· Drug development experience · Worked with Mycobacteria· Experience with JMP software program· Experience with lab automation· Experience with fluorescence microscopy· Experience in growing mammalian cells in cell culture· Experience with Flow Cytometry· Experience with antimicrobial synergistic assays (checkerboard assays) · Experience in isolating genomic DNA· Experience with automated liquid handling Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyIt is the policy of Endolytix Technology, Inc.
