Sadoway Labs Foundation (SLF) is a startup nonprofit working to discover solutions for deployable technologies for deep decarbonization. Our mission is to reduce global carbon dependence through the development of extreme electrochemistry technologies. Through research and innovation, collaboration and education, our work will lead the way to identify and validate innovative pathways for solutions to global warming and nurture the next generation of electrochemical researchers. We are in growth mode and are excited to field applications for a part time Resource Development Associate. This position is perfect for a fundraising professional looking for a 15-20 hour week commitment joining a small team of like-minded individuals working to make an impact on the planet. Reporting to the Director of Resource Development, main duties to include:Research, identify and prioritize potential individual, institutional and foundation prospects with giving interests that match our mission priorities: research and innovation, collaborative discovery and education.Explore and report on philanthropic trends in the climateenergydecarbonization space Lead writing on letters of inquiry, grant proposalsCollaborate with the Director of Resource Development to create and manage a calendar of prospects and grants.Qualifications 2+ years' experience in nonprofit fundraising, prospect research, donor relations, project management andor a related area. Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office, Word, Power Point.You are curious, creative, a great writer, and self-motivated. You have strong research, communication, writing and organizational skills and an eye for detail. You have experience project tracking and are comfortable multi-tasking and responding to shifting priorities. You will be a member of a small team comprised of both experienced and new professionals.
