Job Summary:The Procurement Analyst will support the organization's purchasing activities by gathering, analyzing, and reporting data to guide strategic procurement decisions. This role requires expertise in market research, supplier management, contract analysis, and cost optimization. The Procurement Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure goods and services are acquired at the best value while meeting quality standards and deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze procurement data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and areas for improvement.Prepare reports on supplier performance, spending patterns, and procurement KPIs.Develop dashboards and visualization tools to present procurement insights to stakeholders.Supplier and Vendor Management:Evaluate and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure service levels and cost-efficiency.Monitor supplier performance, ensuring contract compliance and resolving issues as needed.Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and assess competitiveness.Cost Optimization and Savings:Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to identify cost-saving initiatives.Recommend procurement strategies to minimize risks and maximize value.Support negotiations to achieve favorable terms with vendors and suppliers.Contract Management and Compliance:Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing procurement contracts.Ensure compliance with internal policies, local laws, and industry standards.Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and contracts.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with various departments to understand procurement needs and provide strategic sourcing solutions.Support cross-functional projects related to procurement processes and supplier development.Assist in the development of procurement training materials for internal stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.2-4 years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or supply chain management.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.Knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa) is a plus.Familiarity with procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier evaluation.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Preferred Skills:Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.Certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPP (Certified Procurement Professional).Knowledge of local and international sourcing regulations.
