Lead Estimator

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Lead Estimator in Woodland Hills, CA to put together estimates and bids for underground piping, wastewater, pump stations, and public works projects throughout Southern California. This is a full-time, direct-hire position paying between $120,000 - $140,000yr, plus benefits!Duties:Gathering quotes and prices from vendors and contractors Preparing estimates and bids for construction projects Communicating with clients and architects to understand project requirements Ensuring estimates meet project deadlines and budget constraints Reviewing project plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness Identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost savings Participating in project meetings and negotiations Maintaining accurate records of estimates, costs, and project changes Staying current with industry trends and changes in building codes and regulationsWork closely with other team members to assist with estimates and bid accuracyQualifications:Minimum of 8 years of estimating experience in a similar industryExperience estimating on public works projects, working closely with local governments and agenciesProficient in HCSS Heavy Bid, ProContractor, Dirt Take-Off Software, and MS Office programsAbility to pass pre-employment screenings
