Design Engineer

Job Description:Assist in conceptualizing and iteratively developing innovative fiber optic hardware solutions for various market segments.Create 3D models and prototypes that effectively demonstrate functionality and appearance.Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews, contributing ideas and feedback.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with project objectives and business goals.Prepare detailed design documentation and presentation materials.Train and advise on best practices for Visual Language, Design Thinking, and UXUI.Execute packaging and label graphics that meet current standards.Qualifications:Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.1+ years of product development experience.Proficiency in CAD software (experience with CREO preferred).Strong communication skills with the ability to convey design intent clearly.Attention to detail and high standards for craftsmanship.Familiarity with sustainability principles and UX design is a plus.Skills for Success:Expert proficiency in Key Shot and Adobe Creative Cloud.Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.Strong digital sketching and visual communication skills.Ability to approach problems creatively and challenge the status quo.Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Work Environment:Office setting with regular computer and phone usage.Light physical effort, including occasional lifting of lightweight frequent visits to manufacturing facilities and labs, requiring personal protective equipment (PPE).
