Concrete SuperintendentLocation: East Coast Salary: Up to $120kJob Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee concrete construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of concrete construction techniques, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously. The Concrete Superintendent will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of concrete construction projects.Daily Operations: Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.Team Coordination: Organize and direct construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and resolving issues as they arise.Quality Control: Inspect work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, identifying and correcting any defects or deviations.Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, conducting regular safety inspections and meetings.Resource Management: Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of materials, ensuring availability on-site to avoid munication: Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to provide updates on project progress and discuss challenges.Reporting: Prepare and submit progress and cost tracking reports, maintaining accurate records of work progress and project variations.Problem Solving: Resolve any problems or issues that may arise during the construction process.Training: Train and mentor construction workers and subcontractors to ensure high-quality output and adherence to safety regulations.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or in a similar -depth knowledge of concrete materials, tools, and processes.Strong leadership and management skills.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to mitment to safety and quality standards.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction.Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits:Health insuranceRetirement planPaid time offProfessional development opportunities
