The Stock Manager is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the store contributing to the customers' exceptional shopping experience through greeting, maintaining salesfloor replenishment and visual standards, fitting room control, processing basic transactions promptly and accurately, managing inventory movement, ensuring the backroom is organized and running in an effective, productive and safe manner.Responsibilities:Welcomes customers and sets the tone for a friendly, professional shopping experienceAssists in running the fitting room and "go backs"Handles customers sales transactions promptly and efficientlyProduces work that is thorough, accurate and neatMaintains the backroom in an orderly and efficient mannerAssists with all stock functions including shipping, receiving, transfers, RTVs, cycle counts, paperwork etc. following company Policy & ProceduresLeads physical store inventories in partnership with General ManagerIdentifies product concerns and communicates inventory needs to support business goalsControls inventory and shrink losses according to company standardsControls company's assets, i.e. key control, loss prevention measures, inventory paperwork and companystandards of conduct per the employee handbookStrives for 100% accuracy and compliance in cash handling, inventory managementmovement, fixtures and property repair & maintenanceMERCHANDISINGHOUSEKEEPING:Straightens, cleans and helps maintain the store and backroom areasEnsures merchandise is delivered to the sales floor in a timely manner, fills in merchandise on the sales floor from the back room as well as a fitting room areaMaintains a clean and visually appealing cash wrap area at all times (i.e. display cases, earring fixtures, clutter free, etc.)MISCELLANEOUS:Understands and follows all company policies and proceduresAdheres to company guidelines of dependability, including attendance and requirementsMaintains a professional appearance whenever on the shop floorCompletes other duties assigned by store managementAttends Store MeetingsComfortable with being on camera for social media purposes (both stills and video)OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIESGood verbal and communication skillsGood observation skills - identifying and assessing customer and employee behavior, reactions, floor awareness, etcAbility to retain and utilize data, i.e. names, merchandise, information, policies and proceduresPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting and climbing ladders 6-12 feetSimple grasping, pushing, lifting and or carrying things with rightleft-hand which weigh 3-15 poundsReaching above or below shoulder levelWORK ENVIRONMENT: Maintains a friendly, positive, and professional behaviorconduct at all timesParticipate in a work climate that inspires mutual trust, respect and teamwork to achieve goalsRequirements: Retail experience preferredAbility to work flexible schedule including nights and weekendsHigh School education or equivalentThe base hourly range for this role is between $22.00 and $25.00. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
