We are a client centered firm, and our employees are dynamic, focused and pro-active, striving for excellence in all we do.The Legal Resolution Specialist is responsible for ensuring settlements reached on Helton matters are handled efficiently, accurately and managed in a way to reduce the time and expense of finalizing legal matters. The Legal Resolution Specialist receives matters from the Legal Team when a settlement is reached and assumes responsibility for ensuring the matter is finalized and closed within the time frames and matter established by the firm.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Ensure all required terms are documented in the database and confirm the same with Opposing CounselCommunicate with Arbitration regarding case and settlement statusDraft and finalize (with legal input when required) Settlement Agreements within the time frames established by the firm and forward same to Opposing CounselTrack pending Settlements in an efficient and focused mannerWork with Helton Legal Department, Payor counsel and Firm leadership to improve processes and reduce time to resolutionCommunicate with clients and Opposing Counsel to secure necessary signatures on Settlement Documents and be ongoing liaison for process improvement surrounding case resolution processesPrepare necessary paperwork to finalize settlement and case closure, including allocation spreadsheets, settlement or trust fund checks, fully executed agreements, notification of dismissals, etc.Close accounts when paid to ensure accurate reporting and internal KPIs are correctMaintain quality and productivity standards as set by ManagementInfluence others using a focused and timely approachEnsure compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability ActUnderstand and comply with legal stands and protocols related to privacyMaintain documents in compliance with firms document retention policiesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree3+ years of legal administrativeparalegal work experienceParalegal certification (preferred)Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, staff and clientsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignmentsJoin the team now and you can have direct involvement with our growth and make an impact on how we shape our future and the future of healthcare.
