We are looking for the right candidate to join our personable and social staff. We are willing to train the right candidate. You will have the opportunity to learn personal injury litigation and case management from A to Z. This is an ideal position for someone looking to break into the legal field, andor is considering becoming a paralegal. Prefer if you have 1-3 years of experience. Responsibilities:Candidate will handle all aspects of personal injury claims including:Screening new client intake callsRequesting police reports and medical recordsTracking case progressMaintaining constant communication and follow-ups with client,Handling property damage claimsWriting demand lettersNegotiating liensFiling lawsuitsManaging multiple calendarsFiling court documentsCoordinating depositionsCalendaring deadlinesDiscoveryPreparing for trials, etc.Requirements:Excellent customer service skillsExcellent writing and communication skillsVery well organizedMust be reliable, professional, and willing to work in a team environment - you will be working together with other assistants and assisting partners and attorneysJob Type: Full-time
