SummaryThis role acts as the most senior Installation Technician position while on job sites. Those in this role must set an example of demonstrating strong skills and on the job knowledge, professionalism, and quality of work for the Technicians to follow.Type: Direct HirePay Range: $30 - $32hrlyLocation: Scottsdale, AZEssential functionsReview job folder prior to the start of the project, report missing items, follow install standards through job completionParticipate in development of Project Plan and walk through job site with PM team to verify facility requirements are completeLay out the work to be accomplished each day and assign tasks to other techs accordinglyFollow-work orders and provide feedback to the PM for how long each task took. Ensure that all work on the work order is accomplished in the allotted timeframe and communicate to PM if there are any deviations.Send equipment request for each day of the project to PM.Make requests for any specialized tools and equipment.Manage project hours, send technicians home if they are not required on site.Report daily work & issues through status reportsOwn the responsibility for following-up on reported issues with PM until they are resolved.Get PM approval for any change to the scope of work.Report facility issues directly to PMTroubleshoot basic issues with manufacturer tech support - If tech support does not have an immediate fix, escalate to PM and stop working to resolve the problemEnsure the job site is left clean and with all equipment and tools secureEnsure that nothing is thrown away that is not trash, including stands for displays and remotesEnsure that any rack that is built off-site is properly wired before being transported to the siteCommunicate with the PM and the Programmer about timing and other specific requirementsEnsure that every element of the project strictly adheres to Installation Standards.Ensure that the complete the scope of work as defined in your project folder has been completed.Ensure all materials are collected from the job site and returned to stock, with the appropriate documentation about why the particular pieces were not installedEnsure that all small parts, including remotes, are returned to the company in the red boxProvide complete red-line drawings, including cable labelsProvide clearly labeled photographs of all parts of the job, including displays, table boxes and rack.Test own work before stating that project is 100% completeComplete status reports and time entries daily.Maintain truck stockMaintain maintenance and cleanliness of truckTrain and mentor fellow installers on proper installation techniques and standardsMaintain other certifications and attend manufacturer trainingsPreferred RequirementsAssociates or Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in audiovisual integrationProficient in MS Office*Preferred - AVIXA CTS CertificationFor other opportunities available at Akkodis go to If you have questions about the position, please contact Opportunity EmployerVeteransDisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
