UnderwriterJoin our dynamic team in the vibrant heart of Boston! We are a leading provider of homeowners insurance, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions. As an Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our underwriting processes while fostering strong relationships with our valued customers and agency partners. Responsibilities:Thorough Review and Evaluation: Evaluate new business applications, renewals, and endorsements to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. Exercise independent judgment within established authority to make sound underwriting decisions.Customer Engagement: Engage with customers and agents via email, providing timely and professional responses to inquiries and addressing any issues related to policy quality or service. Assist with incoming calls during peak periods to ensure superior customer service.Underwriting Support: Provide guidance and support to agency partners to help them achieve growth and profit objectives. Collaborate with agencies to optimize underwriting practices and foster mutual success.Product Knowledge Mastery: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our homeowners insurance products across multiple states, staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.Data Management: Accurately input and maintain policy data, ensuring completeness and accuracy in all transactions. Troubleshoot policy systems as needed to facilitate renewal and endorsement processes.
