Superintendent and or Project Manager w Concrete Experience that has managed $100Million+ projectsOffice Location: Miami, Fl 33156Projects locations: all of Miami all the way to HomesteadPay range based on experience level $140K- $200K plus bonus & car allowanceMUST HAVE Experience with Concrete work and Structure and or MEP company is looking for a Construction Superintendent and or Project Manager to add to our Operations team .The Superintendent's Project Manager primary responsibility is to manage, in collaboration with the Project Manager, the successful completion of assigned projects. The SuperintendentProject Manager is the lead for jobsite safety, quality control, and project schedule.Essential Functions:Manages the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, project team, consultantsarchitectengineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, and governmental agencies.Responsible for the project set-up, job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.Review all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.Coordinates with building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agencies.Manages the delivery of commercial outcomes by ensuring subcontractors are clear about the performance expectations for their role and effectively addressing any performance issues in a timely manner.Is accountable for raising any concerns relating to compliance implications for the team or project.Delivers to quality expectations by understanding the deliverables, consistently test quality of work in progress to minimize rework through daily monitoring of resources including manpower, materials, and temporary works against project plan.Develops project sequencing logic, identifies and manages associated temporary works.Adheres to timelines and manages workflow according to demand. Can develop well-structured and realistic work plans with clear breakdown of tasks. Allocates own time and resources effectively.Has a solid understanding of the skills and expertise of the broader team and harnesses the relevant professionals to maximize success.Maintains a robust understanding of safety requirements for all aspects of the site, including pre-planning, monitoring of construction activities and site conditions, and taking corrective actions to non-compliant work. Driving the company's initiatives on a daily basis with the tradessubcontractors.Seeks out knowledge of specific construction trades and an awareness of their technical capabilities. Applies this awareness to problem solving.Conduct andor attend project staff meetings.Use project management and scheduling software effectively.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational symposia; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies, etc.Satisfactory completion of appropriate corporate training as related to the position andor department.Contributes to overall achievement by accomplishing related tasks and demonstrating characteristics that exemplify team building and support.The above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities. Other activities may be assigned as required by management.Requirement & Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent Project Manager, or equivalent role, in the commercial construction industryPrior experience in successfully building projects similar in size and complexity.Knowledge of construction budget best -depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.Excellent communication skills, including writing and active listening.Effective leadership abilities, self-motivated, goal setting and conflict anizational skills including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking.Must be a team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done; self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and related construction software.Working Knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint Word, and Outlook)Education:Preferred four (4) year degree in Construction Management or related field, preferred.OSHA 10 OSHA 30 Safety CertificationCompany offers a competitive compensation package and robust benefits plans that include:Medical -United Healthcare- paid 100% for employeeDental- paid 100% for employeeVision- paid 100% for employeeShort-TermDisabilityCompany Paid Long-Term Disability401(k) with Generous Company MatchGenerous PTO Program
