Cohen Seglias has an opening in its Pittsburgh office for an associate with a minimum of 4 - 6 years of litigation experience. Candidates must have a construction or commercial law background, strong academic credentials (preferably law review), and strong legal research and writing skills. Candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania, with a demonstrated proficiency of the state and federal civil procedures. The attorney will be required to analyze facts and perform legal research and writing pertaining to questions of law on federal construction contracting matters. Typical duties will include the drafting of pleadings and motion practice (on both state and federal venues), as well as bid protests and claims before various federal boards and agencies. This position also requires providing litigation assistance to trial counsel.
