Project Engineer

Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team in the Charlotte area. The ideal candidate will support project management teams in executing construction projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring compliance with all specifications and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.Review and interpret construction documents, including drawings and specifications.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to secure materials and equipment.Support project cost management by tracking expenses and maintaining budgetary controls.Assist in the preparation of progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.2+ years of experience in commercial construction or related engineering roles.Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A dynamic work environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.Engaging projects that make a positive impact in the community.
