We also offer 3 weeks of time off (PTO) to start (4 weeks after 5 years); 14 to 16 holidays per year; flexible work hours; and remote worktelecommuting up to 2 days per week (Wed and Fri).This role is a tremendous opportunity for a qualified professional capable of taking on the following responsibilities:Preconstruction activities, including subcontractor bidding and buy-out, and contract negotiation and preparation, and schedulingConceptual estimating and detailed quantity estimating and take-offsConstruction start-up and close-outsJob cost tracking and projectionsShop drawing and submittal review and approvalsField project manager and superintendent coordination, scheduling, and communicationCoordination and communication with internal design-build team members, including account managers, interior designers, architects, etc., as well as outside engineersHandling and coordination of RFIsPreparation and coordination of change orders (subcontractor and client)Client meetings, communication, and presentationsConstruction schedulingPunch lists and project completion follow-upOccasional site visits with travel throughout the southeastern United StatesTo be considered for this position, the candidate must possess the following minimum experience, skills and abilities:Minimum 20 years of similar commercial construction project experience required (similar in scope to what has been described above), including actual field construction experience and unit price take-off estimating.
