General Description : The Commissions Analyst will be responsible for processing commissions for Emerson Reid business. The Commissions Analyst will spend approximately 80% of their time processing commissions, 10% handling broker inquiries and 10% working with brokers and carriers on commission collection issues. Responsibilities: Runs and reviews reports and commission processing at the start and end of each month. Timely and accurate payment consistent with corporate policies and procedures. Create and run ad hoc reports in COMET and Business Objects. Responsible for the accurate data entry into the system by performing regular audits. Able to create spreadsheets using macros to pull information from different sources. Record the deposits and payments. Point person in answering commission questions from internal and external sources. Resolve commission inquiries using Share point. Create commission uploads based on commission information received from the insurance carriers.
