George J. Igel & Co., Inc. Cement Finisher Position Description Hours: 7-5 p.m.; weekend, evening, and early morning hours as required. Job Location: Various Job Sites Summary: Cement Masons work on different types of construction projects. Cement Masons have a thorough knowledge of concrete characteristics. Our Cement Masons consistently demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership. Examples of Work: (This position may not include every example listed, nor do the examples cover all duties that may be performed.) • Sets forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth; • Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, or trowels; • Monitors how wind, heat, and/or cold may affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process • Know and adhere to all company policies and procedures • Other duties as assigned. Any deviation of job responsibilities must be first cleared by the Jobsite foreman or Superintendent. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to pass a drug screening Must have reliable transportation George J.
