AWS DevOps Engineer

Aws DevOps Engineer Remote Job description Multiple years of experience running production web environments in AWS. Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Terraform, and Docker. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (preferably EKS) and scaling solutions. Interest in educating other members of the dev and platform teams in AWS and cloud technologies Experience in optimizing the AWS architecture and costs. Experience in designing AWS VPCs including network optimization and security. Strong knowledge of web platforms and technologies, including PHP, Python, Java, MySQL, Expertise with Python, Perl, or Unix Shell Scripting Experience with scripting in Shell and other scripting languages, and the ability to read code in any language Experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably using AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy and Github Actions Experience managing multiple EKS clusters in different environments using FluxCD A laser focus on uptime, and how to improve it, including HA best practices, DR procedures, and graceful degradation.
