Field Reimbursement Specialist

MID NOVEMBER START DATE! Field Reimbursement Specialist Seeking a dedicated individual with expertise in Retail and Specialty pharmacy processes including Prior Authorizations, Appeals, and denials. Experience managing a territory, providing training, and educating provider office staff. This is a field/travel position covering a territory in Pittsburgh, PA The ideal candidate will: Have a strong background in FRM territory management Be passionate about patient care and overcoming obstacles to secure medication approvals and payments Demonstrate proficiency in Retail and Specialty drug processes, including portal-based Prior Authorizations, benefit investigations, appeals, and denials Be knowledgeable about the local payor landscape, including Medicare & Medicaid Be resourceful in finding solutions when PHI is not accessible Possess experience in escalations, education, co-pay card and patient assistance program approvals, as well as staying updated on industry changes and policy updates Preference given to candidates with a BA degree MID NOVEMBER START DATE!
