The ideal candidate will interact with sales and production in designing, developing and implementing custom addons to the standard machinery. Responsibilities Lead the development and design of custom machinery from cradle to grave Collaborating with clients and production on specific requirements and translating those requirements into practical designs for the machinery Researching and analyzing each project's bills of material and technologies Creating detailed schematics and engineering drawings using AutoCAD Providing oversight of technicians and engineering to ensure proper manufacturing and assembly Collaborating with Procurement, Maintenance and Production to ensure each product is delivered successfully Qualifications 3+ years' experience working in a Custom machine manufacturer Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability to read and understand designs and schematics Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
