Job Title: Drywall Estimator Job Type: Full Time Permanent Work Location: Phoenix Arizona 85021 United States ( Fully Onsite) Job Description: Client has an immediate full-time opening in joining our team as an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator. The qualified candidates must be motivated, self-starters and can manage their projects to be completed on time & on budget. Project Type: Ground Up (New), TI's, Hospitals, Medical Office's, Assisted Living Facilities, Schools, Data Centers and Municipal Work. What We're Looking For: Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in estimating drywall projects with metal stud framing (CFS), experience must be current & preferably in AZ. Skills: Independent judgment, business acumen, client relations, negotiation, decision making, conflict resolution, problem solving, effective internal and external communication, project management, team leadership, tact, adaptability, and analytical abilities are all necessary skills for a Senior Estimator. Technology: Proficiency with operating systems and basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Employees must have experience with Onscreen Takeoff & Quick Bid and the ability to learn other specific software. Expectations: Thoroughly read and interpreted all project plans and specifications for the project. Attend Jobsite meetings if necessary. Create submittals. Write up a descriptive field request form (RFI's/ T&M/ CO). Order materials when needed. Work in a TEAM Environment Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years' experience as a Commercial Drywall Estimator with a primary focus on Drywall projects ranging from 100k to 3mil.
