Sr. Fire Protection Designer

Synerfac is looking for a Sr. Fire Protection Designer for our client in Laurel, MD. Our Client is an expert in MEP building systems and provides integrated, full lifecycle solutions that optimize the design, construction, operation, and efficiency of buildings. - Complete more complex calculations, drawings and specifications related to fire suppression and detection systems for large projects - Serve as lead on entire lifecycle of large projects as it pertains to fire protection including layout, permit procurement, field surveys, coordination, creation of fabrication lists, answering and assist with field generated questions, RFI creation, and as-builts - Monitor long term project deadlines and ensures deliverables are met - QCs work done by less -experienced designers. - Mentor less-experienced team members Job Requirements - High School Diploma or G.E.D. required - Associate"s Degree preferred - NICET III Certification - Strong MS Office Suite skills, including Excel and Word
