Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a Senior Water Resources and Climate Resilience Engineer to join our team in Hartford, CT or New Haven, CT and contribute to our mission of creating a more sustainable and resilient future. We are a dynamic and innovative engineering firm dedicated to sustainable water resource management and resiliency solutions. As a Senior Water Resources and Climate Resilience Engineer, you will play a key role in our efforts to develop and implement water resource management and resiliency strategies. You will work on a wide range of projects related to ecological restoration, green infrastructure, climate adaptation planning and design, and nature-based solutions in coastal and riverine environments. Key Responsibilities Contribute to water resources and resiliency projects from concept to completion. Design and oversee the construction of water infrastructure projects. Evaluate and implement sustainable stormwater management and flood control solutions. Provide technical expertise in climate resilience and adaptation strategies. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure project success. Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. 7+ years of relevant professional experience. Familiarity with state and federal funding programs. Relationships with/experience working with public sector clients. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes. Excellent project management and leadership skills.
