We have excellent benefits and competitive wages! JOB SCOPE: Work with foremen to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with construction projects. Ensure employees are following the established rules and acting in the best interest of Fraser Engineering. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Confer with foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems. Responsible for ensuring proper permits: Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Hot Work, Dig Safe, Building, Police Details. Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities. Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget. Investigate potentially serious situations (safety hazards, schedule delays, expense issues, employee, sub or owner issues) and implement corrective measures. Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy (progress, start up, close out) meetings. Work with Controller to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer. Work with Accounting on receivables and payable items. Work with the Controller on any overdue accounts 60-90 days if necessary. Ordering and coordinating delivery of supplies and materials to complete project. Assist and expedite in the buyout of materials/equipment/rentals. Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, field workers, clients and subcontractors. Education/Experience: A High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), or Vocational School Training with four to ten years related experience. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Computer Skills: Various Construction Software, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver's License 10 Hour OSHA Certification Other Requirements: Proficient in utilizing all internal programs, forms and processes Proficient in database maintenance, report generation Proficient in knowledge and skills in utilizing complex spreadsheet tools for budgets and schedules. Experience in a variety of HVAC /Plumbing/Mechanical system designs. Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical plans P&ID's and working knowledge of a variety of HVAC / Plumbing/Mechanical systems in commercial and industrial projects.
