CAD skills, particularly AutoCAD. Applied experience doing their own CAD work - not just reviewing drawings in CAD Nice to have skills 1. Revit/BIM experience 2. PMP certification 3. Demonstrated ability to read and navigate construction documents, plans and specifications. 4. Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, and Smartsheets. JOB SUMMARY: The Sr Project Specialist is a remote-based role - responsible for design, quoting, planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of Liko Patient Lift customer-awarded projects per Project Management specifications. The role is responsible for all aspects of design, quoting, order processing, project planning, resource allocation, product installation and coordination, and customer communication. Aligned to sales regions within the US, this role provides sales operations support from quoting through product installation. The role directly reports to the Manager, Project Management Office. The ideal candidate will have prior project management, healthcare, or construction industry experience. The position requires 0 - 10% travel depending on geographic location and needs of the business/project(s). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provides sales operations support and assist the field sales team with the design and configuration of patient lift solutions. • Develops quotations and proposals based on Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements and/or customer needs assessments. • Creates patient lift designs and details based on site surveys, plan reviews, and/or construction documents • Prepares submittal drawings and package for customer review and approval, based on customer-specific order details. • Manages multiple projects simultaneously; Working with field-based Project Managers and Sales Executives ensuring all key project-specific information and details are received and verified. • Manages installation process with identifying/hiring key 3rd party certified installers, while managing the schedule to meet customer's expectations. Identifies opportunities for improvements to reduce overall installation costs. • Communicates with customers, both internal and external, regarding customer requirements for product purchase, bids, proposals, drawings, and general troubleshooting. • Confers with appropriate personnel for technical advice and problem solving. • Provides Order Management/Customer Service with detailed information in order to process customer orders. • Maintains records and files regarding customer projects. • Responsible for creating and maintaining exceptional customer value, employee value, and shareholder value in an environment that is demanding and ever changing due to customer expectations and practices. • Uses appropriate software tools to perform bid takeoff, prepare quotations, develop drawings, process orders, while managing multiple projects. • Provide internally-focused product development feedback and recommendations based on customer input received. • Utilize positive people skills when providing work direction and status review for assigned project team members. Collaborate and seek guidance from internal functional and technical groups/resources required to achieve job objectives. • Manages implementation activities with field-based project managers, installers and contractors. • Provides assistance to investigate product and installation issues related to Liko overhead lift installations. • Assists with facilitating the orders with Contracts Administration through the contract review process. • Travel 0 - 10% depending on geographic location and specific needs of the business/projects. As a part of all job duties, employees are entrusted with a permanent mission of research and invention. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree in a business, health care or technical field; or 3-5 years related construction trade experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Acute and post-acute care, health care environment experience desired. • Project management experience, preferably within healthcare, or construction industries. • Applied use of design tools/CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) is desired. • PMP or other industry related certification(s) desired. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • Ability to interpret construction specifications and plans (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural). • Strong PC literacy including knowledge of Microsoft products, including MS Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and other PM related software tools. • Practical knowledge of design tools/software (AutoCAD, Revit) is desired. • Practical knowledge and use of CRM tools () is desired. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Commitment to customer care and building long-term relationships. • A professional, positive and enthusiastic attitude. • Strong consultative approach to project management. • Demonstrated track record in facilitation of large, diverse groups to reach a consensus agreement on process. • Demonstrated track record of managing a defined sequence of tasks to completion within aggressive schedules, through individual effort and coordination of the work of others. • Demonstrated track record on managing multiple, concurrent projects/initiatives to completion with aggressive schedules and managing multiple stakeholders. • Demonstrated leadership abilities. • To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each "Essential Duty" satisfactorily.
