As Manager of IT Infrastructure , you will work as a collaborative member of the technology team to enhance the technology within all business units. This position will be in constant contact with internal and external stakeholders to identify solutions to problems, many of which are time sensitive. The incumbent will have to work effectively in a fast paced yet rewarding environment and be able to meet deadlines as set by Association management resulting in great customer service to Northeast agriculture. Responsibilities of the incumbent will vary in scope and depth and will be tailored to multiple audiences (including internal and external customers, partners, and vendors). This position will help to promote a partnership and value-added style relationship with Association staff and our external strategic partners. Emphasis will be placed on an understanding and working application of organizational IT infrastructure needs both from a software and hardware perspective. General knowledge of finance and previous experience within a financial institution is considered a positive. The Manager of IT Infrastructure will be dedicated to finding creative solutions that provide superior results in terms of both quantity and quality of the services provided to customers and stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities: Define implement manage and continuously improve digital workplace technologies by assisting in the development of IT infrastructure strategies, ensuring IT infrastructure supports business growth and innovation, and conducting assessments to identify areas for improvement and innovation. Execute on IT strategies by overseeing the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems and infrastructure, managing the deployment of new technologies and solutions, and ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of IT systems. Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure compliance with vendor agreements and mutually agreed upon service level agreements. Assist in the development of and mange IT infrastructure budgets, monitor and control IT infrastructure costs, and ensure cost effective use of IT resources and infrastructure. Oversee and escalate as necessary service desk tickets working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to find timely solutions and have a working knowledge of IT issue tracking platforms, most preferably ServiceNow. Provide technical subject matter expertise and work collaboratively with learning and development to improve digital workplace technologies and staffs understanding of those technologies for consistent use. Strong knowledge of windows architecture, active directory, networking & related security features within the M365 environment. Preference given to candidates with certifications. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and configurations associated with LAN/WAN networks. Knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS solutions including integrations associated with Windows, O365, Teams, and Azure within a hybrid environment. Develop a strong knowledge of Farm Credit East business practice, products, and key systems. Manage a team of IT Specialists and IT Associates dedicated to enhancing the productivity of our high performing staff. At least 8 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience. COMMUNICATION AND TEAMWORK: Critical to the technology function and success of our staff is clear, concise, and useful verbal and written communication to Association management, staff, and external parties. The incumbent is expected to contribute to a team atmosphere. This includes establishing a good working rapport with Association personnel, and promoting a partnership type relationship between credit, financial services, technology vendors, and other external stakeholders. Provide outstanding customer service (both internal and external) and deliver exceptional customer experience and value by setting, communicating and meeting customer expectations. Demonstrate a strong community commitment and professional presence that contributes to the overall positive image of the ACA. Act in a forthright and ethical manner, display a positive attitude and contribute positively to the overall morale of the team and association. Assist other team members and contribute to training. OTHER: Conduct and complete all other duties (as assigned) in a timely and effective manner. The technology/product coordinator will be actively involved in various project teams providing subject matter expertise to move the projects forward. This position may have opportunities to be assigned to various Association working committees. Be actively involved in assigned committees assuring that involvement adds value to the technology team and Association. Job Qualifications and Requirements: Position requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or a related field with solid understanding of computer and business process skills specific to a financial institution and 5+ years of IT management experience. We offer hybrid work options after six months of employment with Farm Credit East. Hybrid work options are determined based on job role and balancing the needs of the customers, the team, and individual work performance. This will be reviewed based on manager discretion.
