Quality Engineer

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Louisville, KY. This is an initial 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates. Job Description: Senior Quality Engineer position will be inspecting product, researching and completing certification documentation for inspected product. This position will work in a team environment reviewing, inspecting and putting together certification packets of product to present to government inspectors. Requirements: Prefer 4-year Engineering Degree, however, years of experience can substitute for degree requirement. US Citizenship Excellent Computer Skills (Microsoft) GD&T, Basic Blueprint Reading Experience in Corrective Actions (5-Why, 8-D, A3, and Fishbone diagrams) Experience reviewing product certifications Product Inspection and Evaluation Creating and Processing Reports Excellent Excel skills Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of our organization 4+ years working in a high-paced manufacturing environment in the quality field.
