We are looking to hire Senior Control Systems Engineers, basedout of our headquarters in Allendale, NJ. Established in 1933, Control Associates along with its global process automation business partner, Emerson, specializes in supporting the process control equipment and service needs of the following industries: Life Sciences, Natural Gas Distribution & Transmission, HVAC, Power, Chemical, and Downstream Hydrocarbons. Our Senior Control Systems Engineers will possess the ability to work in a team environment to lead and assist with all aspects of control system project implementation from project proposal support through start-up and commissioning. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Work as the Project Lead Engineer or as a Project Engineer on a team, the Sr. Control Systems Engineer will be required to support multiple projects simultaneously. Assist the Engineering staff with all aspects of control system project implementation from project proposal through to start-up and commissioning. Proactively mentor and develop team members. Develop and maintain project documentation as required by the customer specifications. Review or develop control strategies Review and approve project design drawings. Develop control system graphics and configure control system databases. Take responsibility for ensuring that the factory acceptance testing is performed. Perform control system startup and commissioning. Assist the Project Manager/Administrator with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and invoicing. Maintain training certification via company provided trainings for DeltaV (or other control system platforms) Required : BS Engineering Discipline 4+ years' experience Configuration experience of continuous or batch process control systems (PLC or DCS) Standards experience with industry standards Ability read P&IDs , Instrumentation and Controls wiring diagrams Site start-up experience and/or Site process equipment support experience Troubleshooting of process and/or process equipment Excellent Communications skills, this is a client facing role Ability to travel to customer sites. Preferred Industry standards ISA S88, GAMP5, or 21CFR11 Pharma industry experience. DeltaV design, configuration, commissioning, qualification experience User Requirements Specifications (URS) General Design Specifications (GDS) Detailed Design Specifications (DDS) Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) Please note that work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
