Description Position Details : Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Location: Memphis, TN Shift: 4AM-4PM 4PM-4AM • Schedule (takes 2 weeks to cycle through, then starts over): • Monday - work • Tues/Wed/Thur - off • Fri/Sat/Sun - work • Monday - off • Tues/Wed/Thur - work • Fri/Sat/Sun - off Compensation: $32.60/hr. Increase to $33.10/hr after working 40 days. Paid weekly. Overtime is available. Promotional opportunity every 6 months. Hiring Bonus - $5,000 (minus applicable taxes) • 50% paid within 5 days of hire • 50% paid 40 workdays after hire Relocation allowance - $3,500 (net amount) • Lump sum paid within 5 days of hire Benefits: • Major medical, dental, vision / Paid time off / Flex Spending Account • 401k rollover with 401k match - .55% for each 1% contributed, up to 6% - easy way to understand - if employee contributes 6% or higher, the company match/cap is 3.55% • No waiting period to contribute • No vesting period for company match, starts immediately Position Description : • Work closely with production staff, supervisors, and other maintenance team members to coordinate maintenance activities and optimize production efficiency. • Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot, and repair various machinery such as conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment, to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to proactively address potential equipment issues and prevent breakdowns. • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions to minimize production disruptions and maintain safety standards. • Apply mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex equipment problems efficiently. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and equipment condition, to support regulatory compliance and inform decision-making processes. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and longevity. • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge. Requirements: • At least 2 years of work experience in an automated industrial manufacturing facility or Military, ideally in maintenance-related work with packaging and/or processing equipment. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Thorough knowledge of motor controls, sensors, gearboxes, and electrical test equipment. • Familiarity with industrial safety, machine safeguarding techniques, and basic industrial math applications. • Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
