Position Summary: As a Project Executive, you will play a vital role in driving our business growth by establishing and cultivating strong client relationships and ensuring the successful completion of flooring projects. The primary focus will be on expanding the end-user business within the New York market. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve project and company goals. Essential Functions: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers through consistent and methodical outreach, demonstrating a disciplined approach to door opening and lead nurturing. Proactively make calls and follow up diligently to secure meetings and build rapport. Establish a strong foundation for long-term partnerships and repeat business. Conduct detailed site assessments, including precise measurements and thorough evaluations of project requirements. Assist customers in selecting flooring products that align with their needs, preferences, and budget. Create accurate and detailed project proposals, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and profitability. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and deliver proposals within established timeframes. Monitor proposal status and follow up diligently to facilitate the sales process. Collaborate with internal and external teams to schedule installations, manage material orders, and ensure seamless project execution. Provide regular updates to clients and installers throughout each project. Conduct final walk-throughs to verify project completion and address any outstanding concerns. Recommend maintenance solutions to maximize flooring lifespan and performance, promoting customer loyalty. Follow up regularly with customers to keep in touch about flooring needs. Regularly update the CRM system with sales activities, use the CRM to plan and optimize sales efforts, as well as set and achieve monthly sales goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate's Degree with equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or construction. Familiarity with construction field concepts, practices, and procedures is a plus. Strong personal drive and discipline to proactively reach out to potential clients, build relationships, and close sales. Self-motivated to maximize customer outreach, build relationships, manage time efficiently, and consistently exceed goals. Ability to learn to read complex construction drawings and discuss designs with installers. Ability to learn and maximize the use of various technology solutions Intermediate Microsoft Office experience.
