About The Role: YipitData is looking for an IT Engineer to join our growing Information Technology Team! The Information Technology team is responsible for building and maintaining the technical infrastructure that allows YipitData to rapidly grow and scale, and ensure our team has the tools to do their jobs. We're looking for someone with a modern IT Infrastructure toolset, focused on SaaS tools and MacOS, IOS and Android devices, in order to provide exceptional support for our rapidly growing team. This is a NYC region hybrid opportunity (where our headquarters are located) with the opportunity to work remotely on some days when on-site work is not needed. As Our IT Engineer, You Will: Remotely administer and troubleshoot systems (Mac OS laptops, MDM, software, Cloud SaaS, networking gear, etc.) Support systems including but not limited to Kandji, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, Slack, Zoom, Okta, and more. Research and implement new solutions for technical challenges (processes, file storage, device management, access permissions, etc.) Manage laptop inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and upkeep of all devices Work with our Security and Infrastructure teams to implement security policies Work with IT vendors Maintain an IT asset list Proactively create and update documentation and training pertaining to IT-related processes/resolutions, and assist in developing policy documents regarding internal policies and external compliance requirements You Are Likely To Succeed If: You have 2+ years of experience working in a modern IT environment and are comfortable maintaining and supporting SaaS tools, a remote work environment, and have a working knowledge of MacOS You know how to automate aspects of our IT environment using code (ex. Shell scripts, Python) You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a diversity of users across the spectrum of knowledge levels and experience You have experience working on IT projects that help transform the business You learn quickly You enjoy working in a small but tight-knit team You have a love of technology and are excited about working with others! The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be up to $100,000. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. This position directly supports our headquarters office in New York, NY, and will require in-person travel to our office 2-3 days per week.
