Cook 1 Functions: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in training fellow team members and supervising an assigned area of responsibility Assist with organizing people and products for successful food service Assist with leading the team to maintain a high level of kitchen order and cleanliness Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh properly produced and presented Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients Bake, grill, steam, and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods Use kitchen knives and equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers, and warmers in food preparation Present, garnish, and arrange final dishes Occasionally serve food and interact with Members Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes Handle and store ingredients and food Maintain food safety and sanitation standards consistent with state and local health department regulations Practice and abide by all Club policies and procedures Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or resort Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment Ability to maintain a positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork Passion for food and service Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Additional Desirable Skills & Experience Proficiency in A La Carte Stations including Grill, Sauté, and Garde Manger Experience with Catering/Banquets Benefits Medical/Dental and more for Full Time Employees Lunch & Dinner Provided on Shift Golf Course Privileges on Select Mondays 50% Discount on Merchandise from the Golf & Tennis Pro Shops Food and Beverage Operation 50,000+ square foot clubhouse $11+ million annual operating revenue $3.5+ million annual F&B revenues 10 Unique Private Event Venues 7 a la carte Dining Venues 350+ Capacity Ballroom We're an equal-opportunity employer.
