Job Summary: As the Area Manager you are responsible for every aspect of operating a Clean Juice location including but not limited to, guest satisfaction, COGS and Labor management, scheduling, ordering, team development, local marketing within your community through event sponsorship, product sampling and Juice Booster networking. Additionally, you are responsible for cultivating and maintaining a positive store culture, centered around driving sales, while building a pipeline of inspired team members to grow within our brand. Above all, you must intimately understand that our guests are the foundation of our business, and our Juiceristas are the heartbeat! Company Culture & Atmosphere: • Ensure our guests receive a quality guest experience through Smile, Speed, and Service while continually educating them about our products • Proactively live the Clean Juice Core Values (attached) and culture • Drive Sales to meet or exceed our company's quarterly and annual sales goals • Cultivate a growth pipeline within your team through strong development and coaching • Run and operate your store with an ownership mentality • Give 110% each and everyday while leading the team by example • Hold yourself and team accountable to be sales-minded • Look at your business with a holistic and high level view while leading with a proactive mindset by planning sales growth objectives and marketing events • Innovate and create with new ideas that will increase business (sales, productivity, and brand awareness) • Select and develop ambassadors for your store through our "Juice Booster" program, and cultivate your Juice Boosters to help drive sales • Create and extend community driven relationship through Business to Business partnerships • Schedule and attend marketing and juice sampling events in your community Employee Management: • Recruit, train, and supervise new staff • Hire, terminate, and develop your team members, conducting quarterly performance evaluations for each employee • Monitor employee training and development through our online training program, ensure all employees are up-to-date on latest training initiatives • Maintain a Labor percentage of sales of 25% or less through strategic weekly scheduling, while making daily labor cuts when necessary • Conduct daily pre-shift and monthly staff meetings to ensure operational efficiency in your store, and to build morale • Maintain employee morale through team building activities and creative employee incentives Facility and Operational Responsibilities: • Assume full accountability for all Profit and Loss Financial Statement results including: Top line sales, Labor, COGs, Marketing expenses and any other store spending • Perform a monthly inventory in order to maintain full awareness of your store's product movement for optimal COGs management • Maintain a COGS percentage of sales of 35% by strategically placing necessary orders weekly and monthly to ensure your store is able to serve all products at all times to all guests • Manage and minimize COGS waste through proper training and inventory management • Manage vendor relations through securing timely deliveries, checking accuracy of deliveries, and holding vendors accountable • Monitor your stores, taking appropriate action to ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking and analyzing emerging trends and in the juicing industry • Ensure the facility and all equipment are maintained to company standards regarding cleanliness and regular maintenance • Obtain ServSafe certification, practice proper food safety, and hold employees to the same standard (you must be ServSafe certified to become an Area Manager) • Receive 98%+ on health department inspections • Maintain a high standard of quality hygiene, health, and safety in your store **Would like at least 5 years of Food & Beverage Operation experience** Requirements Employee Management Facility & Operational Responsiblities Posess basic math skills Be able to stand for long periods of time Willingness to work with heavy machinery Be able to reach, bend, stoop, & very frequently lift up to 50 pounds Prior Management experience preferred Once hired, you must pass the Clean Juice University training program
